As Principal and founder of LEARN Consulting Services LLC, Martin builds on over twenty years of experience as a successful sales professional, consultant, facilitator, and coach. He employs a practical, behavioural-based approach to improve individual and organizational performance. A proven business development thought leader, his client work with global organizations to design and facilitate custom talent development solutions in leadership skills, sales effectiveness, client relationship and key account management, proposal management, and large-project pursuit management resulted in improved capture rates and large project wins ranging from $500K to over $5B.  As Senior Consultant and Business Coach for Lore International Institute, Korn Ferry, and Ecology and Environment, Inc. (E&E), he worked with senior leaders, mid-level managers, sales, operations, and technical professionals to enhance leadership and sales skills, business development processes, tools, and client-focused engagements.  

 

Prior to his most recent role as Business Development Talent Coach for E&E, an international environmental consulting firm, he served 15 years as a Senior Consultant for Korn Ferry and Lore International Institute (acquired by Korn Ferry in 2008). While at Korn Ferry and Lore, Martin delivered talent development programs, consulting, and coaching on a global scale to Fortune 500 and industry leading firms within the architecture, engineering & construction, energy & chemical, aerospace, technology, financial, communications, defense and government services, management consulting, consumer products, and pharmaceutical sectors. Martin’s client successes and practical business acumen stem from his global client work and experience as a consultant, key account manager, channel sales manager, and proposal manager for fast-growth, talent development, consulting, and high tech manufacturing firms.

He has also served as guest faculty for Fort Lewis College School of Business, speaker and session facilitator for the Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP) and Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS), and proposal judge for the Association of General Contractors (AGC) Outstanding Student Chapter Contest. Martin led a production company in partnership with his wife, Dr. Kathryn Moller (Director/Choreographer), to produce the Off-Off-Broadway theatre performance of SKINS (2005) at the internationally acclaimed La MaMa Experimental Theatre Club in New York City.

Martin holds a BS in Marketing from the Leeds School of Business, University of Colorado–Boulder and graduate MBA studies at Salisbury State University. He resides with his family in Boulder, and enjoys travel, tennis, skiing, international cultures and cuisine, reading, and playing drums with the band "Mojo Nightclub".
